All the servers were friendly and attentive. The ambience is elegant, but people came and went in surprisingly casual dress. It was smooth and silky, with a crunchy seared sugar crust, garnished with raspberries and a sprig of mint.Ĭoffee was served in a press, not my favorite way to imbibe, but it came with cream, whipped cream, and a bit of chocolate. The potatoes were sweet and creamy, the mushrooms were flavorful.Ī creme brulee was served to honor our anniversary. Wild mushrooms and sweet potato casserole were served family style. The peppercorn sauce had the right amount of spice. Perfectly seared at the right temperature. It complemented the delicate dressing quite well. I haven't seen that option in a while, and they were great: richly salty with a touch of bitterness. The dumplings are moist and dense.Ĭaesar salad comes with anchovies optional. They're stuffed with filet mignon, and the sauce is lightly sweet and tasty. We started with the appetizer of pot stickers. Every move he made was on point, from suggesting menu items to bring out everything we needed. There was also a card on our table that was signed by everyone. I noted this when I made the reservation, and everyone that came by wished us a happy anniversary. What a treat! We celebrated our 39th anniversary. ![]()
